Hunt Oil has resumed oil extraction in Iraq

The American company Hunt Oil has resumed oil production in Iraqi Kurdistan in July, Reuters reported, citing the company's representative.

In July, the Kurdistan Regional Terrorism Department (CTD) reported an attack on unmanned aerial vehicles in Iraqi Kurdistan Erbil and Khuk provinces, as a result of which one of the drones crashed in oil fields.

The source of the Kurdish security forces informed "RIA Novosti" that the oil and oil lease was attacked by the drone, and a fire broke out at the scene of the drone.

"Hunt Oil has resumed operations in the Kurdistan region of Iraq. The company plans to return to the normal level of production at the end of this month, "Reuters reports.

According to the agency, other oil producers, including Norway's DNO, also announced the resumption of production in the Kurdistan's mines, which had been hit by attacks by drones in July.
