Hovhannes Margaryan, a member of the Armenian Shooting team, won a gold medal at the European Target Running Course in the European Championships, a 50-m running target in the individual race of men's fight. This was reported by the Ministry of Edgates.
Hovhannes Margaryan, piercing 591 points, was recorded a world record and became the European champion.
The Armenian men's team also won a team bronze medal with 1738 points.
The other representative of Armenia Lilit Mkrtchyan at a 50-m running target Normal run in women's fight with 572 points won a bronze medal. The Armenian women's team also won a team silver medal with 1685 points.
The European Journey Championship will last until August 7. The Armenian national team headed by coaches Edgar Baghdasaryan and Edward Gharibyan to the competition.
