Bloomberg. Los Angeles fires have made record insurance damage

In January, Los Angeles deserted the forest fires in the first half of 2025, surpassing the damages suffered by insurers after the catastrophe of Fukushima, according to the data of Munich Re.

"Natural disasters in the world have already caused 80 billion dollars of insured damages, half of whom in the first weeks of 2025 were fired in the area of Los Angeles," the report said.
