The EC-145 helicopter of Kazakhstan's air defense forces, including three staff members, has disappeared in Almaty region, search works, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic said on Friday.
"On July 25, 2025, during a planned flight, the EC-145 helicopter of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan disappeared from radar.
According to preliminary data, there were three staff members. The search and rescue operations continue, involving the forces and resources of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Emergency Situations, "the statement said.
It is reported that on the instructions of the Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, a special commission left for the scene to find out all the circumstances of the incident. The department clarified that additional information would be provided as soon as possible.
