Lewandowski has decided to return to the national team

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski will continue to play in the Polish national team under the leadership of the newly appointed head coach Jan Urban. This was reported by Goal.pl.

The striker is not going to set conditions on the return of the captain's arms, although this issue is still being discussed. Lewandowski stressed that his return to the collective does not depend on who will be the elder.

It should be reminded that in June, Mikhal probogue left the position of the head coach of the Polish team after the statement of Lewandowski that he did not want to play led by a probe. As a result, the 36-year-old skipped the June Games against Moldova and Finland.

In July, Jan Urban was appointed head coach. After the three games of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Poland is the third in Group G, with 6 points, while Finland is with 7 points. Lewandowski is the record holder of the Polish team with 158 games and 85 goals.
