A magnitude 5.5 earthquake shook the southern coast of Spain, the country's National Geographical Institute reports.
The earthquake occurred on Monday at 7:13 local time. The hearth was found on a depth of 2 kilometers.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the epicenter was reported 55 miles [55 km] southeast of Almeria.
At the moment, there is no information about victims or destructions.
According to the "Pais" newspaper, the residents of Agua Amward coastal city said they had evoted shocks.
