At the same time, according to the media, Al-Sharaa did not take part in the negotiations between his country's representative and the representative of the Israeli state.
The head of the Syrian transition met with Ilham Aliyev in Baku. As a result, an agreement was reached on the supply of gas to Damascus. According to Ali, Azerbaijan will supply gas to Syria. The Office of the President of Azerbaijan stated that the project to export gas to Syria through Turkey will be implemented in the near future.
