Georgia does not agree to pay the price of EU membership. Hakob Badalyan

Hakob Badalyan writes:

"The European Union has announced that it has effectively stopped Georgia's accession process. As if that process existed for almost 15 years, but now it has been stopped. This is of course the cold cynicism of politics, nothing more. Georgia simply does not agree to pay the membership price that is expected. And that price is not the so-called European standards at all, that price is going against Russia. Georgia does not want to take the risk that Ukraine took.

The European Union also evaluates this as "non-compliance with European standards". Sorry, but only in case of ignorance is it possible to say that Ukraine or Moldova, whose accession process the EU did not declare stopped (but also warned that they will not become before 2030 member), by their standards, to say the least, are more European than Georgia."
