During his 18 years at Sporting Lisbon, he coached players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Luis Figo, Ricardo Quaresma, Simau Sabrosa and others. He also worked in Portugal's 1st, 2nd and 3rd leagues, as well as other foreign clubs.
