The superpowers do not need a new war between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the war is beneficial to the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem, which, feeling the "geopolitical vacation" created in the region, is trying to achieve tactical success. In an interview with Euromedia24, the Head of the Chair of Political Science of YSU Faculty of Politics and Processes of Political Science, Professor Garik Keryan, spoke about the prospects of the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the danger of unleashing a new war by Azerbaijan.
In this regard, the political scientist attaches great importance to the role of the international community and the role of influential players, stating that Turkey and Azerbaijan are trying to use a certain "geopolitical vault" in the South Caucasus.
Speaking about the changes taking place in the new world, Professor Garik Keryan predicts that as a result of the current geopolitical processes, a three-room world order will be formed in the person of the United States, Russia and China. There will also be power subsystems, where India, Brazil, Turkey, Iran, Japan and the European Union will have a key role.
"There will be a three-time world order, with power subsystems, and this is how many buying is more outlined. And as the Yalta-Potsdam system was divided into global influences between the East and the United States, Russia, the United States and China may come to a similar global agreement, which will already be located at less worldwide ambitions, "the specialist predicted.
According to Garik Keryan, Russia will also restore its influence in the South Caucasus and will return to the region.
According to him, Armenia can avoid a new war and maintain its existence if they find coexistence with its neighbors and not have the Armenian people have lived in the last 300 years and have always been affected by losing large areas. According to the political scientist, Armenia must seek to resolve issues in the region, not to look at the West.
