The position on Nikol Pashinyan on May 26 not only shows that Armenia is not ready to change its Constitution to resolve the problems in the peace process, but also raises issues on the country's sincerity. According to Azerbaijani media, Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Ayhan Hajizade made such a statement.
"Besides, ignoring the official dissolution of the Minsk Group and the connection with the peace agreement raises questions about the obsolete mechanism, which no longer corresponds to the realities of the region," the Azeri diplomat added to the Dissolution of Azerbaijan on dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group.
According to him, as to the opening of communication paths, Azerbaijan's position on unhindered transit meets regional cooperation and economic integration and can not be considered disrespectful to Armenia's sovereignty.
"Armenia's resistance and the proposal of complex transit routes slow down progress and contradict the announcements about the need for regional cooperation."
