UEFA has officially apologized for the "Tottenham" club in the 20020-year-old European League finals for lack of medals.
The team's senior Son Hunon Min and two other players did not receive a medal due to organizational omission. Son raised the cup without a medal.
"We are sorry that there were not enough medals on stage during the award, due to the unexpected inconsistency of the number of players. The medals were immediately transferred to the winning team's wardrobe for this error with our sincere apologies, "the UEFA Press Service Representative told Reuters.
