According to the information presented by the National Progress Party, Aram Torosyan was elected as the leader of the faction. Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced this today, October 15, at the start of the session of the Yerevan Council of Elders.

In addition, he mentioned that according to the protocol of the CEC, the mandates of the members of the council elected from the electoral list of the "Public Voice" party of the Yerevan ward and whose powers were terminated early were given to the next candidates from the electoral list of the "Public Voice" party, Lusine Badalyan and Diana Alekyan.

According to her application, Diana Alekyan left the "Public Voice" faction, keeping her powers as a member of the Council of Elders.

In addition, the mandate of the member of the council elected from the electoral list of the "National Progress" party of the council of elders and whose powers were prematurely terminated was given to Vahagn Isoyan, the next candidate of the electoral list of the "National Progress" party. The latter submitted an application for early termination of his authority as a member of the Council of Elders.

According to the CEC protocol, Vahagn Isoyan's mandate was given to the next candidate on the list, Mushegh Hakobyan.
