More than 50 countries and 10 international organizations have welcomed the end of the talks on the so-called "peace agreement" between Armenia and Azerbaijan. I call it "so-called" because the alleged "bold concessions" of the Armenian side are beyond the manifestation of goodwill and are similar to treason.
But we, the Armenian people, will resolve ourselves ourselves with ourselves. I want to talk about the international community.
It will be very difficult to protect our citizens from the bullets and the ransom of our citizens from Azerbaijan. Greetings, alas, will not increase the defense capabilities of our soldiers to face the Azerbaijani aggressions. These statements will not return the innocent Armenian hostages in Baku and will not prevent the humiliating procedural shows against them. Why am I so yeah? Because the Azerbaijani armed forces are firing on the Armenian border every day. Because every day we listen to the new share of aggressive rhetoric from Azerbaijan. Because my compatriots are currently suffering from Baku prisons.
But this is not all. Azerbaijan demands that we change our Constitution, liquidate the negotiation format of the internationally recognized OSCE Minsk Group, and God knows what. Every day new absurd requirements are raised. In addition, Aliyev said a few days ago that they were not going to recognize the judgments of the ECHR. Earlier this year, the Azerbaijani authorities informed the International Committee of the Red Cross on the decision to close the latter's office in their country. I remind that the Red Cross was the only international organization that was allowed to visit the Armenian hostages in Baku prisons. Thus, they remain face to face, the whims of the dictator.
Therefore, the international community, the world has two options, or to order Ilham Aliyev or bow before the new hegemon. I refuse to bow down to the dictator. Armenia refuses to bow down.
Sorry for my tone, but it is my duty to present my people. That's why I was chosen. And here is what my people want, just and lasting peace. Not in international media titles, not unilateral concessions, not forced peace, but an opportunity to live with dignified and harmonious.
And if you ask how we achieved this situation what the reasons for the current situation in the South Caucasus should be seen from a wider view. The roots of the question are much deeper than you can imagine. I am convinced that if the world was held accountable for the Armenian Genocide that implemented Turkey 110 years ago, Azerbaijan would have been thinking twice before doing ethnic cleansing in 2023.
