American boxer Mike Tyson answered the question of who will win the fight between Arthur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol, saying that he is a big fan of Arthur, Seconds Out reports. “I think Beterbiev will show a good fight, I’m a big fan of Arthur. In general, I’m biased, so don’t ask me who will win,” Tyson said. The fight will take place on October 12 in Saudi Arabia. The athletes will fight for the title of absolute world light heavyweight champion. Both boxers have never lost in their careers.
Beterbiev won 20 victories (all by knockout), Bivol - 23 (12 by knockout).
On June 2, Bivol won a convincing victory over Malik Zinad at a boxing evening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The 33-year-old native of St. Petersburg knocked out his opponent in the sixth round, striking him with a series of several straight jabs, after which the referee decided to stop the fight. On January 14, Beterbiev knocked out Briton Callum Smith.
The fight between Beterbiev and Smith ended in a knockout in the seventh round. Beterbiev knocked down his opponent twice in a row within a few seconds, after which the Briton’s corner threw in the towel. Thus, Beterbiev defended his IBF, WBC and WBO world titles.
