WhatsApp has got another new feature

WhatsApp messenger has received another new feature that allows you to hide group chats from prying eyes. It is already available in the beta version of the messenger for Android under the number 2.24.11.7. The feature is already being tested and will be available to the general public later.

Specializing in WhatsApp news and updatesWABetaInfo:According to the website, Communities administrators will not be able to change the group's visibility settings after hiding it, which will allow all chat participants to maintain the privacy of their discussions. Community administrators will only be able to find and remove a hidden group from the Communities list, but cannot change its visibility status.

The new feature will also prevent unauthorized requests to join a hidden group chat.

At the moment, the feature is under development and testing, but according to experts, it will become available in the next application updates.

This feature is not the only one that WhatsApp developers have been testing for the past few days. Earlier, a function was found in the beta version of the iPhone, which prohibits taking screenshots of other people's profile photos. This innovation is also aimed at increasing the level of privacy and security of messenger users.

WhatsApp recently receivedtwo more new features, which will greatly simplify user interaction in "Communities". The first innovation is an integrated event planning tool that allows Communities members to create, announce and manage events right within the app. A system of response threads to messages from administrators in "Communities" has also been introduced. replies will be organized to minimize chat chaos.

A week ago, WhatsApp also released a major update for the mobile versions of its app. After installing it, Android and iOS device users will be able to rateupdated design and interface, which can make interaction with the application more comfortable.
