Taiwan's first national-built "Armenian Kun" (Narval) submarine will test the signs of the sea in April 2025. The representatives of the island's defense ministry Sun Lifang told reporters.
According to Taiwan News, Sun Lifang stressed that April is included in the submarine test schedule, and earlier posts on the delay in marine testing.
"Narval's test will go according to the preliminary schedule," he said.
Several local media outlets reported that the test of the port of the submarine remains from the schedule and will not end in April, which can delay the test tests. However, the Taiwan Defense Department denies this data.
The island authorities have previously confirmed the plans of seven "Narval" class diesel-electric submarines, which will be built in Koshosan Shipyard. The implementation of these plans will depend on the success of the end of the completed submarine.
