Hungary is against new assistance to Ukraine

Hungary will not support Ukraine's supply of weapons to the newly celebrated the EU's foreign ministers on Monday. Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto stated this, Reuters reports.

"We do not agree with the hasty extension of sanctions against individuals, we do not agree to pay tens of money to supply weapons, and when it comes to security guarantees, we are not about the need for security guarantees to Ukraine, but about what security. We need guarantees, the Hungarians, "the Foreign Minister wrote on Facebook.

Thus, he confirmed what he said about the forthcoming meeting of the Foreign Ministers on February 20. Siarto has previously warned that Hungary will not support this meeting in the decision to extend individual sanctions against Russia for six months, as it may prevent it from Russian-American talks on Ukraine.
