European Commission and European Council leaders Ursula von Der Lajen and Antonio Costa have arrived in Ukraine. The von der Layen wrote about this on X.
"We are in Kiev today, because Ukraine is Europe," he said. He believes that the Ukrainian conflict is "survivor" in which "the fate of Europe is endangered."
Earlier, the European Commission reported that Fil Der Layen will accompany the main European Commissioners during his visit to Kiev, and new promises to support Ukraine will be announced in Kiev, which will partially compensate the reduction of American aid.
