Belarus positively evaluates the attempts made in the direction of the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The head of the international military cooperation department of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus, Valery Revenko, informed the journalists about this.
"We seethat currently there are big shifts in geopolitics. These changes are due to the fact that the policy of the USA is changing, that peace is being built in Ukraine or steps are being taken."
"At the same time, we are quite closely following the processes taking place in Europe and, unfortunately,we are still not very optimistic about their actions and steps," said the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
He reminded that "for example, a second anti-missile defense base was opened in Poland last year, which will continue to operate."
