During the presidency of Joe Biden, Washington was the locomotive and the main sponsor of military operations against Russia in Ukraine. This was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov.
"The United States has been and remains the main locomotive that pulls this whole process,and which so far has borne the biggest burden of financial support for this war," he noted, commenting on the dialogue on the settlement in Ukraine.
Peskov noted that the new US administration has different views.
