Rahm Emanuel, the former US ambassador to Tokyo, told The Hill that President Donald Trump is now splitting NATO, and it was the dream of Soviet leader Joseph Stalin.

Emanuel claims that Moscow's supposed "main goal" after World War II was the destruction of NATO.

"This has been the only goal since Joseph Stalin,and the American president made his dream come true," said the former US ambassador to Japan.
