Hungary did not allow EU sanctions on 27 people and organizations in the Russian Federation, including Moscow and All Russia. This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siyarto, in connection with the preparation of the 16th package of sanctions against Russia in Brussels.
"We have prevented the use of sanctions against 27 people and organizations.
They wanted to resume sanctions against Patriarch Kirill, but we prevented it, because if we include church leaders in the list of sanctions, they will deprive churches of mediation for peace, "said the Hungarian Foreign Minister.
