Multiple Armenian chess champion, USSR Master of Sports, Honored Coach of Armenia, Professor Gagik Hakobyan has died, the Chess Federation of Armenia reported.

He was the author of a number of books and also taught at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports.
