The “Zhoghovurd” daily writes:
“Armen Sargsyan, the long-time head of the Department of Capital Construction and Troop Housing of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, who was the real seller of the lands in Yerablur, is from the village of Vazgen Sargsyan.
Nikol Pashinyan actually sponsors him, after the revolution he participated in the opening of his wine and brandy factory (more on this later). Let us recall that in the previous issue, the “Zhoghovurd” daily, referring to the RA Prosecutor’s Office, presented information that a criminal case has been initiated against the same Armen Sargsyan on 19 counts, but law enforcement agencies, having known about this for more than 6 years, have only just begun to act and are still fruitless.
Thus, the “Zhoghovurd” daily continues to list the episodes of the criminal proceedings. Armen Sargsyan alienated the 0.2092 ha land plot located in the area adjacent to the hills called “Yerablur” in the Malatia-Sebastia community of Yerevan, which was provided to the Ministry of Defense with the right of gratuitous (permanent) use, from Valeri Narimani Grigoryan.
It should be noted that the market price of this land plot was 95 million 680 thousand AMD (about 250 thousand USD), but it was sold for only 18 million 828 thousand AMD (about 48 thousand USD).
What is noteworthy in this story is that just months after Valeri Grigoryan purchased this land plot for 18.8 million AMD, he sold it to Nareg Hartunyan, a US citizen, for 96 million 800 AMD (about 250 thousand USD).
5th In the episode, Hrachik Grigori Tavadyan, the director of the RA “Sports School Attached to the Chess House” SNCO, was alienated a land plot of 0.15464 hectares located in the area adjacent to the hills called “Yerablur” for only 13 million 917 thousand 600 drams (about 35 thousand US dollars).
Meanwhile, the market value of that land plot was 73 million drams (about 187 thousand US dollars). Let us inform you that Hrachik Tavadyan, having bought the land plot from the state at a cheap price, sold it at a market price, apparently to the aforementioned US citizens Nareg and Saro Hartunyan.
In the 6th episode, Armen Sarkissian, in the absence of grounds for directly selling the land plot, sold the 0.9 hectare land plot located in the Malatia-Sebastia community of Yerevan, adjacent to Admiral Isakov Avenue, with a market value of 237 million 270 thousand drams (approximately 608 thousand USD) to Harutyun Manucharyan at an incomparably low price of only 63 million drams (approximately 161 thousand USD).
Let us inform you that Harutyun Manucharyan then sold the land plot purchased in 2005 for 63 million drams (approximately 161 thousand USD) to Russian citizen Gennady Shagori Stepanyan in 2008 for 94 million 550 thousand drams (approximately 242 thousand USD).
Here is who organized and implemented the sale of the Yerablur lands in a bundle. And Nikol Pashinyan was shouting from the NA rostrum to opposition MP Anna Grigoryan that “You sold the lands of Yerablur, you opened car dealerships.”
Pashinyan is certainly well aware of who, under what conditions, and how sold the lands of Yerablur, but throughout his entire term in power he has actually sponsored Armen Sargsyan, participated in the development of his business successes, and it turns out that Pashinyan is the beneficiary of the sale of the lands of Yerablur.
Although sources close to the RA Ministry of Defense report that he is Aram Sargsyan’s cousin, Mr. Sargsyan assured the “Zhoghovurd” daily that they have no friendly relations with Armen Sargsyan, they are simply fellow villagers.
