In a conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon welcomed the steps taken to a political-diplomatic settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, the Kremlin's press service reported.

In addition, during the conversation the current issues of Russian-Tajik relations and the Russian President's State visit to Tajikistan, as well as Central Asia to Dushanbe in October.
