The "Mother Armenia" faction will cake the voting of urban transport prices presented at the extraordinary sitting of the Yerevan Council of Elders, but if there is a quorum, the session will take place, then they will take part. The faction stated this.
"Dear citizens,
The ruling coalition of the Yerevan Council of Elders, the "Civil Agreement" and "Republic" factions, as well as some members of the Council of Elders, have been convened by the "Public Voice" faction. It is on the agenda to increase urban transport. This rise in prices is attempted to present as a reform.
"Mother Armenia" rejects the policy of increasing urban transport. We consider it right to boycott the session, for which it is necessary not to secure a quorum.
But if the participation of others, the quorum and the session will be ensured, then we will take part in this discussion on the increase of urban transport so that we may not allow our citizens to be misleading and unilaterally propaganda by the 2.5-point coalition. At the special session, it will substantiate that the prices are unfounded and, as in other cases, the purpose of putting exclusively citizens undergo additional financial burden.
"Mother Armenia" will not participate in the voting of the city's rise in prices. Those who participate in that vote will share the rise in prices together with the "Civil Agreement".
