About 1,000 people with viral hepatitis CS have received new drugs free of charge in the Republic of Armenia

Health Minister Anahit Aanesyan has published data on the process of providing medication to patients with "viral hepatitis C disease" registered in RA in 2024 on her Facebook page.

"Annually, about 1,000 patients, including those in RA penitentiary institutions, with co-infections (AIDS, HIV, tuberculosis) were continuously provided with the latest antiviral drugs free of charge.

In general, in 2020-2024 3298 patients received treatment during the period, 95% of them - about 3133 patients - were completely cured.

We will continue the drug supply program in 2025," the minister wrote.
