Arsen Torosyan, deputy of the "Civil Agreement" faction, said to Armenuhi Kyureghyan, deputy of the "Armenia" faction in the National Assembly.
Kyureghyan, speaking against Torosyan, said that Narek Zeynalyan was one of the few MPs of the CP faction, who was familiar with the problems of his field, and managed the commission entrusted to him.
"Did you find out for what sin he received that night SMS and put down the mandate?" As a colleague, did you try to protect his rights? No one, especially the Prime Minister, has the right to demand that the MP resign, especially in a country that is considered a bastion of democracy. And are you ready to give up your mandate if you receive such a demand tomorrow as a result of a bad dream?" Kyureghyan asked.
In response, Torosyan urged Kyureghyan not to give qualifications: "bad dream" and so on.
"As I mentioned in my speech, I want to thank Mr. Zeynalyan once again for the good work he did. As for his putting the mandate to shame, he himself commented, but I will respond anyway.
I am a member of the CP department, where intra-party issues are discussed. I think that the chairman of our department, Nikol Pashinyan, who is the Prime Minister of RA, being the leader of all of us, has the right, maybe even the obligation, to make decisions and express requests. If there is such a situation that it is necessary for our team to resign my mandate, I will not think about it for a second.
