Arman Tsarukyan's next fight will not be a title fight, he missed the opportunity

UFC president Dana White said that the next fight of Armenian fighter Arman Tsarukyan will not be a title fight.

"He missed the opportunity.

His next fight will not be a title fight.

He should go through the process of fighting for the belt again," said the UFC president.

28-year-old Tsarukyan earlier had to withdraw from a rematch with lightweight champion Islam Makhachev at UFC 311 due to a back injury.

Armani was eventually replaced by Brazilian Renato Moicano, whom Makhachev defeated in the first round, successfully defending the championship title.

In response, Arman Tsarukyan said that he agrees with Dana White.

"After healing my back, I will be ready to prove that I am a real number one contender by fighting anyone they put in front of me," wrote Tsarukyan on the X social network.
