Indonesia intends to actively participate in the activities of BRICS as a full member of the community, said the statement of the Indonesian Foreign Ministry.
"Indonesia, as a growing and diversified economy, intends to actively contribute to the BRICS agenda, including promoting economic stability, technological cooperation, sustainable development and global challenges such as climate change, food security and health," it said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Jakarta "remains committed to close cooperation with all BRICS member countries as well as other countries to build a just and prosperous world."
