Erdogan called Aliyev

On January 8, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

As APA reports, this was reported by the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.

During the telephone conversation, bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.

Erdogan emphasized that the cooperation between the two countries will develop in all areas, according to the principle of "One nation, two states". The Turkish president noted that his country fully supports the establishment of stable peace in the South Caucasus region and will continue to stand by Azerbaijan.

In his turn, Aliyev noted that the fraternal, friendly and strategic alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are developing on the basis of the principle of "One nation, two states".

During the telephone conversation, ideas were exchanged on the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in 2025. The heads of states also noted the need to continue contacts.
