US President Joe Biden confused the date of the first summit with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, it is reportedTASS.
Speaking to New Democratic members of Congress at the White House on Sunday night, Biden also claimed to have known the Russian leader for more than 47 years.
The outgoing head of the American administration, among other issues, referred to the situation in the international arena.
"I have known Putin for more than 47 years," said Biden, whose speech was broadcast on C-SPAN.
“I remember meeting him between the time he was elected and the time he was inaugurated, or right after.
No, excuse me, before that. No, that's right, right after taking office, in early February," Biden continued.
