Today, on January 5, a major car accident took place in Armavir region. Around 9:00 p.m., "Nissan Altima" and "ZIL 130" cars collided near Etchmiadzin bridge on the Yerevan-Armavir highway.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, as a result of the accident, 1 person, who was the first to be helped by the citizens and according to the citizens gathered at the scene, the rescuers of the Etchmiadzin fire-rescue squad, who promptly arrived, was taken to the "Vagharshapat" medical center.
The fire-rescuers cut off the power to the car and were on duty on the spot.
The patrols of the 2nd platoon of the 1st company of the Armavir Marz battalion of the Police Patrol Service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by company commander Arsen Baghdasaryan, arrived promptly.
The territory was demarcated by patrolmen of the same company, Narek Khachatryan and Garik Mesropyan.

As a result of the accident, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigation department of Vagharshapat, where the identity of the drivers is being ascertained.
