And if the person who received temporary protection is abroad, he can apply to the RA consulate in his country of residence.

If a person has changed his passport after receiving the temporary protection certificate (due to loss, expiration, or damage), he must apply for a new certificate, because the temporary protection certificate provided on the basis of a valid passport.

According to the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated October 17, 2024 No. 1649, in the event that the validity period of the certificate has expired, the person who received temporary protection continues to remain under the temporary protection of the Republic of Armenia for one more year (until December 31, 2025).
