China intends to strengthen strategic coordination with Russia.
Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui wrote about this in his article for RIA Novosti.
The diplomat emphasized that under the leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, relations between the two countries are at the highest level in history.
"The Russian side makes it clear that it does not recognize the 'independence of Taiwan' in any way and supports China's actions to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as its efforts to unify the country," the article said.
