On January 1, a report was received from the "Abovyan" medical center of the operational management center of the Kotayk region of the Police that three young people aged 22-25, residents of the city of Abovyan and Yerevan, were taken to medical care with physical injuries. This is reported by the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is noted that as a result of the measures taken by the criminal police of the region, it was found that they received the injuries during an argument between a group of young people near the "St. Hovhannes" church in Abovyan.
The argument turned into a fight, during which a 22-year-old resident of Abovyan hit a 22-year-old resident of Yerevan who was taken to medical aid with a sharp cutting-piercing object. The latter, in turn, hit the resident of Abovyan with a knife, causing a penetrating injury to the chest.
The third young man, who was taken to the hospital, received only head and chest wounds.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated.
As a result of the measures taken, the participants in the dispute were found, arrested and presented to the investigative department of Abovyan.
