Construction works have been completed in 119 kindergartens and 76 preschools.
In a conversation with "Armenpress" reporter, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports informed about this, noting that work is underway in 220 more schools within the framework of the program. 35 are under construction, 136 are under contract, and 14 are in the process of purchase.
At the same time, 35 institutions are being renovated.The beneficiaries of the program are about 107,089 students or about 25.1% of the students in public schools of the republic.

Referring to the part of the program related to kindergartens, the department said that construction works have been completed in 195 kindergartens (119 kindergartens, 76 preschools), and are in progress in 136. and preparatory works are being carried out in 64 institutions. At the end of the project, around 33,200 children aged 3-5 will have the opportunity to receive preschool education in good conditions."
The Ministry reported that the process of introducing universal inclusive education in preschool educational institutions continues, 1,836 children with special educational and developmental needs attend kindergarten (46% more than last year), whose preschool education is financed from the state budget.
"The education of servicemen's children is also financed from the state budget, within the framework of which around 4,800 children receive free pre-school education," the KGSMS concluded.
