The RA Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan, sent a congratulatory message, in which it is said: "Dear compatriots, dear colleagues, I congratulate you on the bright New Year and Christmas holidays.
The year 2024 was filled with both achievements and challenges.
It was a really important period in terms of firmly continuing the course of the comprehensive reforms we adopted, strengthening public faith by improving the tools to provide high-quality services to citizens, achieving achievements in the fight against crime and ensuring public order, and implementing our ambitious plans.
On the way to the implementation of reforms, not only our, but also international surveys document that the level of public confidence in our activities has increased, which is not only encouraging, but also extremely binding.
We have entered the stage of modernization and deep institutional reforms. this path is not easy and cannot be. Our successes and failures are the steps by which we climb towards development and progress.
To be sure, there were shortcomings and omissions in the past year, which we were the ones who took the initiative to correct, and it will always be so, because at the basis of our achievements we must also have the will and determination to notice the shortcomings, eliminate them, and correct the omissions.
It is in this sense that we constantly inventory various problems, the addressing and consistent solution of which is our target. We are committed to continue the adopted reforms, strengthen the internal security of our state and ensure public order.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs has been formed in its current structure for two years. We are living the current phase of reforms and will live based on strong traditions, taking the possible positive from the past, respecting the contribution of our older generation and veterans, but always keeping our eyes on progress and development.
In carrying out our complex mission, we also experience losses, the most painful of which are human lives. Let us always cherish the memory of our servants who gave their lives for this mission. Kudos to them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the main institutions responsible for the stability and internal security of the state and is always ready to fulfill its mission with honor.
However, Peace is of great importance for its functioning, and the Government spares no effort to implement it.
I am sure that in the coming year, with the same dedication and willingness, with the same determination, we will continue the consistent implementation of reforms in all pillar directions.
With the same responsibility, we will continue to fulfill the tasks set by the government of the Republic of Armenia and provide full service to our society.
Let 2025 be a year of peace, stable development of our state, new achievements and new opportunities.
