After separate meetings and discussions with the structural units of the State Revenue Committee, SRC Chairman Eduard Hakobyan held a working consultation with the management staff of the structure.
This was informed by the information and public relations department of the RA State Revenue Committee, detailing that the further priorities of the system's activity were summarized and outlined at the consultation.
SRC President Eduard Hakobyan thanked the attendees for the achievements recorded by the structure in recent years, which have moved the state to a new level of development.
"In 2025, the activities of the Committee should lead to positive changes in the life of every citizen. The vision of SRC should be to become a powerful and professional service-providing structure for the society," Eduard Hakobyan emphasized, adding that people-centeredness and human values will be paramount.
Referring to the provision of tax revenues, the SRC chairman emphasized that taxes were collected in 2024 in line with economic developments.
According to him, as a result of the implemented administration, a certain reduction of the shadow has been recorded, but there is still a lot to be done.
The head of the committee emphasized that the tough and objective fight against the shadow, the significant improvement of its measurements and evaluations will be among the priorities of 2025. Significant achievements were recorded in the directions of international cooperation, as well as digitization. Digitization will continue actively next year as well. The 2025 agenda also includes the improvement of the toolkit for rickshaw analysis.
One of the key reforms will be the reduction of time in customs procedures. Eduard Hakobyan emphasized that the positive changes in this direction are obvious, but reducing the time at the border checkpoints is a priority.
"Relentless fight against corruption will be one of the main priorities of 2025. Any corruption and illegal phenomenon will receive a harsh response," Eduard Hakobyan emphasized.
The head of the committee assured that he will be consistent in the implementation of the set priorities and the solution of the proposed problems, urging to show proper initiative and long-term thinking, contributing to increasing the efficiency of the system and strengthening the society's connection with the large family budget (state budget).
