12.5 percent of the shares of "Lidian Armenia" CJSC were transferred to the RA government, according to the RA Ministry of Economy.

Today, the signing ceremony of the contract took place in the RA Ministry of Economy. It was signed by RA Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan on behalf of the RA Government, and by Director Hayk Aloyan on behalf of "Lidian Armenia" Closed Joint Stock Company.

The project has already invested 500 million US dollars, it is planned to invest another 250 million dollars, it will create about 1000 new jobs.

According to Minister Gevorg Papoyan, the signing of this contract means that all stages have been successfully overcome, very detailed work has been carried out, and all risks or expressed concerns have been dispelled.

"This is a megaproject that will lead to the creation of more than a thousand jobs, making payments to the state budget in the form of taxes, but most importantly, it will contribute to the development of the given community. We believe in the success of this project," said Gevorg Papoyan.

Hayk Aloyan, director of "Lidian Armenia" CJSC, in response to journalists' questions, said that the construction works of the Amulsar mine will begin in the next quarter, and the actual operation is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025.
