The State Revenue Committee has identified 6 cases of illegal business activity, the SRC news service reports.
"It turned out that more than 560 bottles of alcoholic beverages and 2,010 packs of cigarettes were illegally traded in the territory of the Republic of Armenia. Some of these products were stamped with fake excise stamps, and some were sold without excise stamps.
The other day, the Department of Internal Security's operative-investigative activities department received information that EB, a resident of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan, bottles alcohol in bottles of different sizes intended for brandy and prepares brandy in this way.
The latter puts used excise stamps on the bottles and sells them to different people. The officers of the Internal Security, Investigation and Operational Intelligence Departments have acquired 4 bottles of cognac, 28 fake excise stamps and 164 duplicate QR labels at the mentioned address.
Also, 25 containers of different capacity were found, in which there were alcoholic liquids with the aroma of cognac. As a result of the complex measures taken, a protocol was drawn up according to the relevant articles of the RA Tax Code and the RA Administrative Offenses Code.
An administrative proceeding was initiated, as a result of which additional tax obligations were imposed on the person engaged in the sale of alcoholic beverages. The obtained alcoholic beverages were sent for examination. It was confirmed that the alcoholic beverages and stamps were fake. Since the act contained the characteristics of a crime, the report about the crime was sent to the Investigative Committee. It was initiated under Articles 289 and 409 of the RA Criminal Code criminal proceedings.
In another case, the Internal Security Department of the SRC received information that in the "Miracle Garden" restaurant complex, the products of the "ARTASHAT-VINCON" company, with the inscription "Governor", without an excise stamp, are being sold. A total of 372 bottles of alcoholic beverages without an excise stamp were found in the restaurant complex as a result of the joint actions of the employees of the Departments of Internal Security, Investigation and Operational Intelligence.
A case of transporting a consignment of cigarettes hidden from customs control without excise stamps was also prevented.
The car was inspected by the employees of the SRC internal security, as well as the land crossing points of the State border, and 2010 packs of cigarettes were found under the citizen's car.
It should be noted that the found cigarettes were purchased by S.S. from duty-free trade points operating in Georgia.
In connection with the incident, a record of the violation of customs rules provided for by Article 313 of the RA Law "On Customs Regulation" was drawn up, "said in the SRC message.
