As a result of the fall of drone fragments, an oil depot and a substation were burned. The governor of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, also reported on the attack of Ukrainian ATS on several settlements in the region. One person was killed, 4 people were injured. Residential houses, social facilities, gas supply line and cars were also damaged. Attacks also took place in Rostov region. Governor Vasiliy Golubev reported on Telegram that a fire broke out in one of the power substations, air defense systems and radio electronic warfare devices hit dozens of targets in different parts of the region. The Voronezh authorities also reported shooting down several Ukrainian UAVs. There were no casualties or damage. And the Reuters agency reports that the number of victims reached at least 41, and more than 170 people were injured as a result of the rocket attack on various Ukrainian cities by the Russian forces on July 8. According to the President of Ukraine, more than 100 buildings were damaged, including the Kyiv Children's Hospital, kindergartens, a business center and houses. July 9 is declared a day of mourning in Ukraine. US President Joe Biden condemned the attack on Ukraine, calling it a "terrible reminder of Russia's brutality." Russia, in turn, announced that a missile from the Ukrainian air defense system fell on a hospital in Kiev. According to Anatoly Antonov, the Russian Ambassador to Washington, the US is keeping quiet about this in order to use the situation to secure new arms supplies to Kiev.
