Yesterday, on December 18, an emergency situation was created in Lori Marz. As a result of the strong wind, a part of the roofs of the "Armenia Sports Non-governmental Organization" and "Dvarets" sports complexes in Vanadzor remained.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, Lori Marz Governor Aram Ghazaryan, Deputy Governor Hovhannes Avetisyan, Vanadzor Mayor Arkadi Peleshyan arrived at the scene of the incident.
The rescuers of the Vanadzor fire-rescue squad of the Lori Marz Rescue Department of the RA MIA Rescue Service and the patrols of the Lori Marz Battalion of the RA MIA Police Patrol Service also arrived.
As a result of the strong wind, trees fell down in Vanadzor, roofs of private houses and billboards were damaged.
