Electronic visas for foreigners are being introduced in Belarus, the government of the republic has made changes to the country's visa rules, according to the decision published on the national legal internet portal.
"Electronic visas are issued in the automated system "Consul" as part of the provision of electronic services for issuing electronic visas using the EPEU OAIS (unified portal of electronic services of the national automated information system)," the resolution reads. The document emphasizes that applicants will be charged a fee for the service.
It is specified that foreigners from 67 countries, including EU countries, will be able to receive this service.
