France PM Attal goes to Elysee Palace to hand resignation to President Macron, media report

French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal has gone to the Elysee Palace to hand his letter of resignation to President Emmanuel Macron.BFMTV television showed footage of Attal's arrival at the presidential residence.According to BFMTV, if the head of state accepts his resignation, Attal will continue to perform the duties of the prime minister until the appointment of a new one.
