Trump has called Canada a state again

Newly elected US President Donald Trump, commenting on the resignation of Canada's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Chrystia Freeland, who, in his opinion, behaved "poisonously", again referred to Canada as a state, and the country's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as a governor.

"The great province of Canada is appalled by Governor Justin Trudeau's resignation or the firing of his finance minister. His behavior is completely toxic and has done nothing to secure a bargain for Canada's deeply disgruntled citizens," the politician wrote on Truth Social.

Trump also expressed confidence that Canadians "will not let go" of Freeland.
