The strike will disrupt flight schedules in France

A strike by air traffic controllers in France will lead to flight cancellations and delays on Tuesday, Le Figaro reported on Monday.

Thus, on Tuesday, Montpellier-Mediterranean Airport, Nîmes and Perpignan Airports will cancel all flights. Flights from Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte Airport in Corsica will also be delayed.

Lyon Saint-Exupery Airport will cancel 60% of flights between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM local time on Tuesday.

France's General Directorate of Civil Aviation urged passengers to check the status of their flights and change their journeys if possible.

The union of air traffic controllers in France had earlier called for a strike because of the "bad organization" of the airports.
