Israeli Air Force fighter jets and Navy ships launched missile strikes on 12 Syrian air defense batteries and early warning radars in recent hours. This was reported by Al Mayadeen TV channel.
According to him, Israeli planes attacked military facilities mainly in the coastal regions of the country, between Tartus and Latakia.
In addition, airstrikes were carried out on the ammunition depots of the Syrian army, which are located east of the city of Tartus (220 km from Damascus). Witnesses reported strong explosions in the bombed areas.
According to Al Mayadeen, there are victims and wounded as a result of the attack, their number is being determined.
