The National Police of Ukraine reported that over the past day, settlements in the Kherson region were subjected to shelling and drone attacks, as a result of which 2 people were killed, and 4 more people were hospitalized with various degrees of injuries, the BBC Russian service reported.
In addition, the police reported that 4 private houses, 3 multi-storey buildings, 7 cars, agricultural machinery, an administrative building, and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that massive strikes were carried out on important Ukrainian fuel and energy infrastructures in response to the attack by Ukrainian forces on the Taganrog military airport with ATACMS missiles.
